Collectors paid more than expected for Moroccan art during auction. Christie’s, one of the largest auction houses, has just closed its 2025 online auction of Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art.
The sale featured 69 powerful works from across the Gulf, Levant, Iran, Iraq, and North Africa including Moroccan masters like Melehi, Agueznay, and Hajjaj.
